  • As a Viewings Agent, you are the key interface between landlords and tenants and will be responsible for ensuring our property portfolio is managed professionally, supporting tenants to find their perfect property.

    You will work closely with our Lettings Enquiry Team and Director. The Lettings Team will manage and arrange diaries to ensure that tenants are booked into the appropriate viewing. Your responsibilities will be to engage with tenants at viewings to provide them with the necessary information to make a decision to make an offer on a property. This will in-turn enable our Director to negotiate terms of business within company parameters. Each property that has a successful offer that is accepted will provide a commission based on the value of the property. Our approach will be multiple viewing slots arranged for each property and you will be hosting the viewing, ensuring that potential tenants clearly understand what the property has to offer and the appropriate terms.

    Your responsibility will be to attend the viewing slots on the days scheduled. Viewing slots will usually be in the evenings or weekends but this may differ depending on tenant availability. This is a part-time position requiring you to work up to 15 hours per week (understanding your availability is key).

    Main duties:

    • To attend viewing slots and set up properties ready for potential tenants to view.
    • To ensure that you have an understanding of property benefits and restrictions.
    • To pick up and manage property keys – following the business process.
    • Manage your time efficiently and effectively to ensure you are always prompt for viewing slots.
    • To promote the professionalism of Lawson S Stone when engaging with potential tenants.
    • To promote other potential properties to tenants when they attend a viewing slot.
    • Take photos and/or videos of properties for marketing purposes including floor plans.
    • To provide feedback on all viewing slots.
    • Potential possibility to call back tenants who have attended viewings.
    • To meet and exceed targets set.
    • Any other duties as reasonably requested.

    As a Viewing Agent, you will be responsible for supporting and developing the rental portfolio, working collaboratively with the property management team to ensure that the best possible service is offered to clients and tenants. We are looking for a professional and energetic person, to ensure that all units are successfully let to suitable tenants. A well-presented, credible, customer focussed individual who will represent our organisation to ensure that the highest quality of service is provided at all times.

    Duties and responsibilities include:

    • Managing the phone lines for enquiries and bookings
    • Working towards targets set by the company.
    • Uploading vacant properties onto the property portal
    • Releasing new properties to the rental market
    • Screening and assessing potential tenants.
    • Meet with clients and assist them in viewing properties.
    • Handling enquiries about properties from potential tenants.
    • Liaise with Property Management Team to progress the deal from offer stage to move in.
    • To visit properties and carry our inspections and condition checks.
    • Provide information packs to landlords on services available, assist Landlords in completing any property-related administration and keep accurate records of all landlord contact details.
    • Managing landlord relationships throughout the marketing and letting process.
    • Exceeding all KPIs

    Person Specification

    • IT literate – An experienced user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook with a competency level and ensures you are productive and accurate using the systems.
    • Confident customer focused approach always
    • Ability to communicate clearly on the phone and in writing.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
    • Self-motivated, driven, and energetic.
    • Willingness to work in a high paced environment.
    • Strong organisation skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A full, clean UK driving licence and own car are essential.

    We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate their previous customer service experience and is looking to learn and develop in the property industry.

    There will be a two-week roster:

    Week One -Monday to Friday 3pm to 6 pm

    Week Two – Tuesday to Saturday 3pm to 6 pm

    A total of 15 hours per week.
